Victoria is originally from the Isle of Wight where she danced from the age of 4, before moving to London after gaining a place at the prestigious Royal Ballet School.
Since graduating in 1999, she has successfully taught students to a high standard, maintaining an excellent examination record in R.A.D and I.S.T.D exams. She also has many pupils who have gone on to achieve places at top schools across the UK including The Royal Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School Junior, Mid and Senior Associate programmes, Elmhurst School for Dance and Arts Educational Schools. Many of her pupils past and present have also been successful in winning awards such as Young British Dancer of the Year and the R.A.D Phyllis Bedells bursary, gaining contracts with many musicals in the West-End, the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet and the Tivoli Pantomime Theatre along with many other credits.
Now in her 19th year of running KAPA, Victoria has continued to develop the school, providing all ages with the opportunity to discover different performing art genres. She is passionate about encouraging and nurturing her students’ abilities, talents and love of dance through sharing her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the arts.
BA (HONS) RAD RTS
Miss Styliana was first introduced to Ballet at age 5 and Contemporary dance at age 11 whilst living in Cyprus. She fell in love with it and moved to London in 2017 to study ballet education with the Royal Academy of Dance. Whilst studying in London, Miss Styliana danced professionally with Semaphore ballet company and One Youth Dance Company. Through her work with these companies she participated in exciting projects and collaborated with named choreographers such as Hofesh Schecter as well as working with university students to create work for dance festivals. Her choreography has also been performed at the O2 arena for the Orpheus College.
Miss Styliana has a versatile dance training background including krump, hip-hop, street dance, lyrical and jazz. She has participated in international dance seminars in Bulgaria with the Kalina Bogoeva foundation and competed in international competitions in Greece and Italy (International dance competition Hellas, International Ballet and Contemporary dance competition Domenico Modugno).
Miss Styliana worked as a ballet teacher’s assistant throughout her studies in Cyprus and as a dance teacher since 2017 and now teaches ballet and contemporary in dance schools around London.
